Eggnog Recipe
Blatantly ripped from
Slashdot:
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup cognac
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 cup milk
- vanilla extract
- nutmeg
Beat egg yolks with sugar until thick. Slowly drink bourbon, and cognac while beating slowly.
"Realize" you drank the bourbon and cognac that was supposed to go into the eggnog and will have to pour more. Remeasure 1/2 cup of bourbon and cognac.
Get glass. Pour class of cognac. Slowly drink cognac while adding milk to egg yolk mixture.
Pour shot of burbon. Shoot it and chase it with the milk you were pouring into the egg yolk mixture.
Determine that a milk chaser is a very bad idea.
Drink cognac out of bottle to get nasty milk taste out of your mouth.
Beat egg whites until...wait...the room is spinning. You need to sit down.
Get halfway out of room. Come back and get cognac bottle and glass. Now you can leave room.
Sit in favorite chair and begin sipping cognac out of bottle despite glass.
Wake next morning to sound of cats crashing egg/yolk/sugar/milk mixture all over kitchen floor.
